Yes, SST lets you use an SST harness with Daktronics touch pads eliminating the expensive Daktronics harness. The user can also specify for each lane if there is a Daktroics touch pad or some other type of touch pad. This allows the user to replace Daktronics touch pads as needed not wholesale.
